The owners are lovely, and ready to help with anything. The rooms were large (with lots of natural light), well maintained, and the property in generally is very peaceful (i.e. serene). Location is perfect, about 5 minutes from Hiriketiya beach and a bunch of great cafes and restaurants. They host yoga classes in the morning, and the gym on the property is better than most five stars. Serene Villa was a big reason why Hiriketiya was our favourite location on our 10 day SL trip.

Dots Bay House is situated on Hiriketiya beach in Dikwella, Dots Bay House has a garden and free WiFi. Featuring a restaurant and a Surf shop, the property also has a shared lounge.

The cubicle style dorm for me was a first, and I loved it. Some people might dislike it, because the chances of striking up a conversation with a stranger is limited. But the little private space is amazing. Beds are comfy. Everything is clean. Coworking space is really good. The included breakfast is INCREDIBLE. The optional yoga sessions on site are a good bonus.

Mahee House is located right next to the fishing port and beautiful Blues Beach. Maheesha (the owner) was a delight. So helpful and kind. We got to experience how a Sr Lankan family live and work. Great value and her breakfast wa delicious! The dog chorus at night is extremely entertaining!

Kalpa Place Hiriketiya features a public bath and free private parking, and is within 700 metres of Dickwella Beach and 6.3 km of Hummanaya Blow Hole.

An amazing homestay, very close to Hiriketiya beach. The family was so lovely, they couldn’t do enough for us and helped us with future travel. The place is spotless clean too.

Immaculately clean and comfortable large rooms with great bathroom facilities. Perfect location to walk straight out the door to many great food options and beautiful Hiriketiya beach. The outdoor shower was a great addition for a wash off when returning from an early morning surf. Having the two upstairs rooms was great for our family with two teenagers. We appreciated being able to leave our bags for a few hours before we departed for our next location after check out.

I had a wonderful stay. The room was very clean and comfortable, and it had a/c and a balcony. Situated off the main road close to the forest - monkeys seen in the trees. The breakfast was served at the owner's beachside restaurant. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

It was an amazing stay I wouldn’t think of any other place to come back to in Hiriketiya. Avishka was super helpful and polite since we arrived, giving us advice of where to go, booking a good transfer to Yala park and then Ella for a good price and even sorted out returning a tuk tuk that we rented from Welligama a couple of days before but that we couldn’t return ourselves. Also the rest of the staff from the bar to the kitchen where very lovely, attentive and helpful. Location, view and set up where superb. Good value for money 👍💪🙌

We absolutely loved our stay at simply peace. The place is so beautiful, clean, aesthetic and the staff is really friendly. A great plus is the outdoor gym which we used daily and is super well equipped. Overall I can highly recommend it for a relaxed, healthy stay.
