We stayed at Adisham village home for 2 nights and were made very welcome by Samire and his lovely family. We were the first to stay in the newest family room and it was beautiful. Very spacious with our own dining table where our breakfast and dinner was served. The view from the balcony was spectacular and the place is away from the road so very quiet. Samire was happy to help us with any of our requests. We also used the services of their taxi with Mr Ajith who was a very kind and knowledgeable guide for our tour to Liptons seat. Highly recommended!

Nice, spacious and clean rooms with a very nice view and great balcony (we spent so much time there). Hot water was a plus too. The owners were really helpful, they gave us some advice and helped us with whatever we needed. We recommend the laundry service as well. Location is quite good, 15 min walk from the Haputale however there is not much to do in the city, and there is a good restaurant nearby. Good location to visit Lipton’s Seat, Horton’s Plains and Diyaluma Waterfall:)

The staff were beautiful people, very helpful and accommodating. The views are splendid. The FOOD IS THE BEST PART. Amazing buffets, im usually not a fan of buffet, but they were real good. They spoil you rotten. I felt like being within the property only instead of going out.

Lovely large bright room with floor to ceiling windows looking out across a valley. Great shower and comfortable bed. The hosts very kind and helpful. Location was good for stages 13 and 14 combined of the pekoe trail. It’s a 15min walk to Heel Oya rail station and from there you can get the early train to the start of stage 13 at Haputale. Stage 14 ends at Makulella and from there it’s a short tuk tuk ride back to the hotel.

The staff were very attentive and excellent throughout my stay, always making sure I was comfortable. The location is great, offering easy access to the area and beautiful surroundings. Overall, I really enjoyed my time here.

From the moment of check in to check out, I had a wonderful stay at orient hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and professional and the food was delicious. Special mention must be made to the GM Mr. Chandima who was always on the scene and attentive to our needs. We were also provided with a Trek to Ella Rock accompanied by hotel staff and a packed hotel lunch which was an incredible experience I would highly recommend. Overall was a great visit and will definitely be staying here again next time I visit.

Don’t miss it if you want an immersive nature staying, terrace view amazing and room had a big comfortable bed, with all the facilities. They upgraded my room i was so lucky, ask for the upper rooms especially for more nights staying. Family owners and staff are very caring and friendly, they helped me arranging daily tour and also gave a take away breakfast (super yummy and appreciated) for my early leaving in the morning. They also spontaneously came for picking me up at night along the way. Feeling safe and comfortable like at home
