We stayed at Adisham village home for 2 nights and were made very welcome by Samire and his lovely family. We were the first to stay in the newest family room and it was beautiful. Very spacious with our own dining table where our breakfast and dinner was served. The view from the balcony was spectacular and the place is away from the road so very quiet. Samire was happy to help us with any of our requests. We also used the services of their taxi with Mr Ajith who was a very kind and knowledgeable guide for our tour to Liptons seat. Highly recommended!

We enjoyed staying here as it was a little out town and away from the noise. Rooms with a balcony look out towards a small temple and the valley and hills beyond and are the balcony is a good place to air out and dry washing in the sun. Raheem and Razmiya listened to our plans and helped make them happen, including seeing a leopard that was a bit too close for comfort at Horton Plains. They asked what we would like to try for breakfast and dinner and went out of their way to find special vegetables as well as mi kiri (buffalo curd). We enjoyed having general conversations about life and Sri Lanka. You can walk to Adisham monastery from here and then continue on to Idalgashinna Station on the forest track and go back to Haputhale by train. Other popular walks from Lipton’s Seat and at Horton Plains can be arranged by tuk tuk at a good price

The staff were beautiful people, very helpful and accommodating. The views are splendid. The FOOD IS THE BEST PART. Amazing buffets, im usually not a fan of buffet, but they were real good. They spoil you rotten. I felt like being within the property only instead of going out.

From the moment of check in to check out, I had a wonderful stay at orient hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and professional and the food was delicious. Special mention must be made to the GM Mr. Chandima who was always on the scene and attentive to our needs. We were also provided with a Trek to Ella Rock accompanied by hotel staff and a packed hotel lunch which was an incredible experience I would highly recommend. Overall was a great visit and will definitely be staying here again next time I visit.

Very beautiful location, very friendly staff. Food was excellent whether local or western. Close to other attractions in Ella area and downtown.

A good location for a stress-free stay in Ella, Ella waterfall view is a homestay surrounded by views of the mountain.
