Yes, you need to walk a bit to reach the place but the view, comfort of the room and the warmth of the guest is totally worth it. One of the best guest house we had during our stay. The breakfast is also delicious and you get to have it on the terrasse facing the waterfall.

I had a wonderful 3 night stay here. The staff ( Siba and Saski) went out of their way to make sure everything was just perfect. They made a special effort to make meals specifically for me - all of which were delicious. The house is in a beautiful natural setting just outside Ella, but very handy to get into town. I really loved sitting on my own private balcony watching and listening to the wildlife. It's the staff though who make this place just perfect. 👌

The Cozy Forest is a beautiful relaxing solution if you want to spend some days in Ella. The rooms are big, comfortable and very clean. The host was very kind, helped us on any request we had and explained what to do in the days we were there. The position is a little outside of Ella but in a few minute in tuk tuk is possible to easily reach the city center. To be out of the city is a huge advantage because is quiet.

Very clean. The bed sheets were super clean and comfortable. The room was really good considering the humidity around. The room and bathroom were very clean. The owner was super nice and friendly. He welcomed us with some tea and biscuits. He sent us places to visit without the intention of selling anything. The place is 15 minutes walking or you can get there by Tuk Tuk (around 400) or the owner can pick you up. He actually drove us to the next destination and we met with him in the city and he brought our backpacks. We felt safe, comfortable and the place is really quiet and calm. The views are spectacular. If you are looking for being close to Ella but at the same time some peace this is the place.

Absolutely stunning location in the mountains of Ella. The views are worth the stay! Breakfast was yummy. The pool is beautiful (very chilly). The massage and spa treatment were wonderful! The location is nice for hiking and a short ride into Ella. The buggies were quick and very helpful. Some of the staff at breakfast were so lovely and kind. I don't think there is a better place to stay in the region!

Huge room with the most incredible view! Monkeys playing on our balcony and the sound of wildlife surrounding you. The staff at Serenite Ella were fabulous and really friendly. We thought the breakfasts were the best we’d had on our travels through Sri Lanka and we also ate lunch there which was delicious. The spa was also super to have on site and we both enjoyed a relaxing massage.
