This place was 100% romantic lying on a hillside. The view was great. It is not a luxury place but there is a fridge, water boiler, hairdryer etc. Breakfast is good and the owner is friendly. He also offers tuktuk service on request. I felt it is a bit a special place because it is so hidden. We were in another place in Ella before but that one was more expensive and not so special.

Absolutely stunning location in the mountains of Ella. The views are worth the stay! Breakfast was yummy. The pool is beautiful (very chilly). The massage and spa treatment were wonderful! The location is nice for hiking and a short ride into Ella. The buggies were quick and very helpful. Some of the staff at breakfast were so lovely and kind. I don't think there is a better place to stay in the region!

Huge room with the most incredible view! Monkeys playing on our balcony and the sound of wildlife surrounding you. The staff at Serenite Ella were fabulous and really friendly. We thought the breakfasts were the best we’d had on our travels through Sri Lanka and we also ate lunch there which was delicious. The spa was also super to have on site and we both enjoyed a relaxing massage.
