Perfect hotel in the mountains! Very nice and kind people, wonderful place:) Food is very tasty, view is gorgeous, rooms are very clean and comfortable.

The staff were amazing, they made our stay so enjoyable they did everything in their power to help us in every way. One of our friends had a birthday and they decorated both the room and the restaurant for the birthday it was amazing

My husband and I spent four amazing nights at Celestial Hills in Kandy for our honeymoon, and I can honestly say it was the most magical place we’ve ever stayed. From the moment we arrived, we felt like we had stepped into a hidden paradise. We stayed in one of their beautiful villas, and the staff made sure we felt like royalty the entire time. Every night, they decorated our room in a different, special way, knowing we were there for our honeymoon. On Diwali, they truly went above and beyond—lighting candles, creating a stunning Ganesha on our bed with flowers, and leaving a mixture of Indian and Sri Lankan sweets for us. This thoughtful touch meant so much, especially as it was our first Diwali away from home. The villa itself was stunning—spacious with incredible views of the valley and sunrise. Every morning, we woke up to a breathtaking view, watching the sky change from purple to orange. It was like something out of a nature documentary, only better because we were there to experience it firsthand. Our private pool and large balcony made it even more special—we had breakfast there most mornings, taking in the serene atmosphere. Leaving each day for sightseeing felt like we were leaving heaven, but returning in the evening always felt like coming back to it. The service at Celestial Hills is by far the best I’ve ever experienced, and I’ve traveled quite a bit. From the moment we arrived, Andrew, the resident manager, welcomed us with pineapple achar and tea. Throughout our stay, he stayed in contact via WhatsApp, making sure we had everything we needed. No matter what we asked for, it was brought to us within minutes. Andrew truly went out of his way to make our stay perfect. Everyone we met was so warm and welcoming, it didn’t even feel like we were at a hotel—it felt like we were staying with family. The chefs, in particular, were incredible.

A very luxurious experience consisting of ayurvedic spa treatments, great meals, helpful & kind staff, morning walk thru through nature, a great cooking class. A nice place to unwind - definitely recommend for anyone seeking a zen experience while in the northern part of Sri Lanka.

Nice and clean with air conditioner. pool was good. owner is very friendly and helpful. it is a little bit outside of Kandy, but we thought that was perfect since it was very quiet and tranquil, no car noises just the sounds from the animals in the jungle. it is still very easy and cheap to get into Kandy by tuktuk or car, and menikhinna center(where they have grocery stores, restaurants, farmacies etc) is in walking distance. cute area with very friendly locals

Breathtaking location, well worth going out the way to visit here. we felt like we'd arrived in paradise which I don't say lightly, it was like nothing we'd ever seen before. The views are incredible, the facilities are luxurious and relaxing, the restaurant serves food to a very high standard and the staff were incredibly accommodating. There's a wide range of activities which you can do at the lodge, from cooking courses through to hikes and some self-care (full spa treatments). The staff truly went above and beyond to accommodate our needs specially the meals as my wife and me are vegetarians. We'd come back to Sri Lanka just to visit the resort again.

Beautiful property, in the middle of nature and the tea plantation. The room was super large, with ceiling fan and mosquito net. Terence and the rest of the staff were really the highlight of our stay. They took such good care of us and treated us with such kindness, bringing us tea and fresh juices throughout the day. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner there for two days (always different), and this was really the best food we had in Sri Lanka. We could also fill up our water bottles at all time, which was very appreciated. Magnificent furniture, all from the colonial times, though it could be a bit cleaner (cushions and fabrics of the different sofas). The swimming pool was the perfect addition, after walking around in the hot weather. Finally, our visit to the tea factory was very interesting: we learnt a lot and were so happy to be able to buy their tea at the end, for a very decent price.

Loved the personal touch and attention provided by the staff. We paid extra for meals prepared by the inhouse chef which were all DELICIOUS! All meals were beautifully presented and very, very tasty. Rooms are big and comfortable. The house manager assisted us with organisation of daily excursions and taking us to climb a nearby rock with exquisite views. We had an amazing three nights at this beautiful location and would love to return one day!
