What an incredible stay! Everything was brand new an super clean. They had just opened last month. The team was full of energy and always ready to help. A special thanks to Heshan and Chamara for making our time there unforgettable. We originally booked three nights, but we loved it so much that we ended up staying six! One of my friends had his birthday during our stay and the team and the new chef (Sorry, don’t know his name) surprised us at breakfast with a cake, balloons and music. We celebrated together and it honestly felt like being part of a big family. Thank you so, so much, guys. It was amazing. Greetings from the Netherlands 🇳🇱

I had the best stay, the hostel is amazing, super chill vibes and the rooms are really cleans and quiet. It is super well located and the owners are SOOOOO nice, I recommend. Breakfast is so good as well, I absolutely loved my stay here, go there without doubting it one second, you will be welcomed so good. Everything was so perfect and so clean.

The hotel is located in most beautiful place we've visited in Sri Lanka! Two beautiful beaches and a very nice territory (the pool, big chess, ping pong, the bar area and and nice walking paths). The staff is lovely, they were always there for us and made us feel like home. Good choices for breakfast and dinner, our kids are picky eaters but always found something to eat and the ice cream in the dinner buffet was always a hit. The room is really spacious, clean and beautiful and the sea view was fantastic. Would love to visit again!

Ocean Gateway Dickwella was our second destination in Sri-Lanka after Kosgoda in the west. Located not far from the main Dickwella beach (which we didn’t like, by the way) in Bathigama Bay, it is a real gem of Sri-Lankan shore. A stunning property right on the beach with a hypnotizing view on the Mighty Ocean. A really nice and quiet place for introverts and those who don’t like crowds and loud music. We stayed in a room for 4 persons without direct view to the ocean, but it’s not really needed. You can walk out of the room and sit in a comfortable chair watching the beauty. The room is nice, the beds are comfortable, the bathroom is big and there was always hot (with strong pressure!) water in the shower. It would have been nice to have a small fridge in the room, though, but not critical. A kettle, hair dryer and socket adaptors were provided by the owner upon the arrival. The host, Mahesh, is the most wonderful person! He is Mr. Cook, Mr. Manager and Mr. Pleasant Companion in one face! Although I ended up not liking Sri-Lankan cuisine too much, the Devilled chicken and fried bananas were wonderful! 150 meters from the hotel is the Turtle Beach where we spent a lot of time snorkeling. There are also a couple of café’s on the beach near-by and a small food store just across the street from the hotel. Thank you for the wonderful time we spent at Ocean Gateway Dickwella!

My stay at Breath House was amazing! When I showerered in the morning monkeys would jump on the net keeping me company 😃 The location is great, a super short jungle walk from the Hiriketiya Beach. Everything is in walkable distance. The staff was barely there but always responded promptly to my messages and needs. I got clean sheets and towels when I prolonged my stay for the third time. The bed was very comfortable and despite the heat, the fan kept the room cool enough for me. I can only recommend this place and miss it already! Also the terrace is a big plus, you can hang your clothes to dry and sit outside in the evenings. There’s also a kitchen you can use. I loved the place. Thanks for everything!

I liked the whole building, it is very beautiful and clean. The stuff are super nice and helpful. Internet connection also was great. The beds in dormitory were quite private. And I ended up taking a surf board from there and walking to the beach every day.
