I have to commend the in- house dinning staff ,that arranged for a warm glass of milk each evening and each morning ( 5.30am ) to be delivered to our room for our 17 month old grandson . They were always obliging when we called them - regarding the kids meals and all other services

I'm really demanding person but I was fascinated about this place! Let's Start with location. It's situated about 10 minuts by foot from Aluthgama railway station. It's very convenient when you trevel by train like we. You shouldn't worry about noise because this hotel is on a quiet street near the river. For people who is really in nightlife there are no bars, cafes and parties around this place. Instead of this you can enjoy amazing sunsets and try water activities on the river or fly on a glider over the beach. The hotel is separated from the beach by a river so they give you a free ride to the beach by boat. The beach is sandy, wide and almost deserted. There are no cafes but I saw several sunbeds so probably it could be rented. The coast is quite flat and the ocean depth is shallow, so the place is suitable for children Guest house is pretty small (about 5-6 rooms) and doesn't have a garden where people can walk but we didn't suffer about it. Amazing and welcoming family run it. They helped us with all questions but were not intrusive. We took a river safari excursion from them and did not regret it. We saw monitor lizards, endemic monkeys, small crocodiles, bats and birds. All the time we ate only in this hotel. They provide very tasty and filling breakfasts. We were served scrambled eggs in different forms (scramble, omelet, etc.), yogurt, fruit, toast, butter and jam, juice, tea or coffee. Besides they have a wide selection of dishes in menu including grilld meet( chiken, beef, porc), sea food, noodles, rice etc. All was available and has affordable price. We stayed in family room on the first floor. It is spacious, bright, extremely clean and fully matches with photo and description. Definitely recommend this hotel and say a huge thank you to this family!

Great place to stay in Bentota within a 5 minute walk to the best beach in the area. There are also good eateries around with excellent food and reasonable prices. The rooms at the villa are maintained to the highest standards, very clean, hot water, kitchen, cutlery, complimentary tea/coffee. The sea was very close and I was able to relax very much. My mother had a spa treatment and was very satisfied. The rooms were very clean and the breakfast was luxurious, so if you want to enjoy a relaxing vacation with your family or as a couple, please visit this place.

Very friendly staff who wanted to make the stay as comfortable as possible. Very large pool which was a lovely temperature. Very large comfortable rooms, with nice toiletries and air con. Good breakfast Facilities to have daily massages and other wellness treatments, however didn't make use of this on our stay.

Hospitality was top notch, There was a lot of delicious food and variety. Friendly staff, everywhere sparkling clean. Lovely restaurants., location suitable, spa was excellent. Modern furnished and clean, spotless room with everything you need for luxury and relaxing holiday. The bed was extremely comfortable. Air Conditioner is fully functioning and Wi-Fi in the room and lobby super-fast. The staff was always smiled, polite and helpful.. The service brilliant. HIGHLY RECCOMEND IT.

Highlights have to include the most relaxing massage in the small spa that looks out to a pond, it felt truly serene. At night, the sound of the crickets and flute from nearby temples made it super calming. It was super helpful to have Kaz give us all her top travel tips for not just Bentota but also the whole island.

Had a great few days here, relaxing by the pool and beach. The staff were all very friendly and attentive. We ate very well with an extensive choice of food at the breakfast and dinner buffets. I also had a wonderful massage from Niluka at the spa. Would definitely stay here again when visiting Bentota.
