Signiel Busan is located right at the heart of Haeundae beach in Busan. There are only a few 5 star properties right on the beach and this one is the newest one. I found my stay incredibly comfortable. As someone who spends more time in hotels than my own home in any given year, I am extremely sensitive about the quality of sleep, which is not guaranteed even in five star hotels. I slept very well here for my stay for almost a week (I liked it so much I extended my trip in Busan). The spa & sauna facilities, as well as the infinity pool, are all luxurious and beautifully designed. In fact the sauna facilities (which you have to pay for separately) are all totally worth it and I highly recommend you try them. They are some of the best facilities you will find in Korea and reminded me a lot of the Dolder Grand in Zurich. There was a slight miscommunication with the spa booking but the management was quick to resolve the issue, and the treatment itself was fantastic. We also loved Chaoran, which is a Michelin Chinese restaurant on site at the hotel. We went back a few times because it was so good! I also found the staff and quality of housekeeping to be impeccable. The manager on duty and Dean the concierge personally made sure we had everything we needed and beyond. You can also walk out to Starbucks on Haeundae beach and so many great local restaurants from this hotel, which I found much more convenient than the Park Hyatt. This hotel is a lot quieter than Paradise hotel, which I think attracts more families with kids. Overall, I recommend this hotel wholeheartedly and I can't wait to return.
