The room is very spacious and clean, just like in the picture. Private onsen does not require reservation, but you need to sit in the queing area to que up. I went at 20.00 on a weekday and there was one person infront of me. Waited only 20 mns and I got in. The onsen was exceptionally wonderful (and it was snowing!!) There are outdoor and indoor parking lot right at the site. Very convenient and the staff was very helpful. Everything is perfect here. 10/10 ☺️

Very good location - quite literally next to the train station. Our room was very clean and all the amenities are new. We also enjoyed the top floor balcony view. The onsen was very new and spacious - overall a very enjoyable experience, and highly recommend if you want a convenient stay at Takayama! Also the room we booked has a washing machine (with dryer) which was really cool
