It was very conveniently located. The receptionists were also very helpful and nice! Hotel was very clean!

The location couldn't be more perfect. Only 2-3 min from train station. How convenient. To the interesting part of Takayama it is like 10 min of easy walk. The room was the biggest during our stay in Japan and although we were outside most of the time it was great to have it and not deal with our luggage. I advise to rent a bike for free from the reception and take a ride thru the town - that was a highlight for us. There's also option to have breakfast but we didn't use that option.

Beautiful hotel. Very clean. Quite big rooms for it being japan, and the private onsen were great! The location was quite central, and being able to park at the hotel made it really easy to get around. They even had a beautiful piano upstairs that you can play!

The footbath and onsen was amazing! The facilities also allowed for guests with tattoos which was a bonus. The location was great being next to the train station and bus station. Cannot recommend a better hotel for Takayama, would definitely come back here to stay again

Ideally located if you're planning on taking the Shinhotaka ropeway (as moving around the villages can be hard without a car as you have to follow the bus timetable), the place is set on giving you the best experience for a relaxing stay by the mountain. The room was superb, diner was great and the onsen is cherry on the cake. Relaxing in a hot spring outside in the cold with snowflakes running around while contemplating the snowy mountains around really makes a magical moment
