Superb location. Very formal staff which was as expected and marketed. Food presentation excellent. Hotel shuttle picked me up from the port even after usual business hours after a call with reception. Excellent communication before my arrival in regards to restaurant choices, shuttle and luggage transport. Has a very Old Classy Hotel vibe and since it was not crowded at the time of my stay, it felt mildly surreal and very elegant. Garden is fantastic and good weather can mean view of Fuji (but not from every room). Thank you for your hospitality!

I loved my stay at Fujiyama hotel. my family and I enjoyed the Onsen, the garden, the reading lounge, the indoor pool and the confortable room. it was difficult for my kids to remove the hotel indoor clothes and leave the hotel. the staff was awesome.

Karaku is truly fantastic. Great location, short walk from Gora station - super easy walk nothing hilly. Staff was very kind and helpful. Room was spotlessly clean with private path. We will come back again.

Magical experience, a highlight of our honeymoon. We had a small house with the private stone bath which was amazing to use also in the evening. The private dining was also very nice to experience. The staff is extremely professional and kind. Overall we didn't want to leave this unique place!
