The hotel is great, the breakfast is excellent, and there’s a view of Mount Fuji if there’s no fog or clouds. :) The onsen was amazing too; anyone traveling here should definitely try it. In early November, there was no snow on the top of Mount Fuji, something that hasn’t happened in 130 years. :)

The entire house is beautiful: it has both modern and traditional parts. It’s very cozy and perfect for a couple. We truly enjoyed our stay and the private onsen is just amazing! It’s also in front of the station, so public transport is extremely near. You can also see Fuji-san from the living room’s window on the last floor! We hope to come back one day, it was magical.

Amazing location! If the weather allows it, you have a perfect view of Mt. Fuji-san! The staff were amazing, really helpful and even assisted us with ordering food from outside, as we arrived quite late. Also the room had an amazing balcony view of the lake & mountains. The private open air bath was also really great!

Service was extremely thoughtful! The server who checked us in escorted us to our room, and even tidied our shoes! At keiseki dinner and breakfast, as a family with kids, the service was very polished, and the server really could anticipate our needs and acted proactively, to the point of surprising us! The meals were elaborate and of extremely high quality. Both the public onsen and the private in-room onsen were excellent. And of course, the view of Mount Fuji was super impressive! All Fufu hotels are designed with maximum customer privacy in mind. While the hotel is not right next to the coast of Lake Kawaguchiko but is instead "hidden" in a valley, the feeling of being inside a forest yet with Mount Fuji still highly visible, the picture is really surprisingly next level! A perfect, perfect stay overall!

EVERYTHING! We spent 3 weeks in Japan and this was honestly the best place we stayed. Our host was unbelievable, made us feel extremely welcome and he made us spent a unique time listening live music and having a nice drink.
