We planned to use this hotel as a base to do some of the mountain passes however it snowed and we stayed in at the hotel and made use of the spa. It was fabulous. Lovely pool and beds to look out over the mountains. Erica was fab with my massage. The outdoor pool opened at 1 pm and oh my! It was heated and you could just see the snow on the mountains! Breakfast was amazing with freshly squeezed orange juice from oranges in a machine. We were also half board here which was a good idea as there aren't really any proper restaurants in area. There are some bars serving food. Dinner was a buffet starter, then a starter,then a main and dessert. Of particular mention should be Samuele who was very helpful and friendly. As was the lovely girl on reception who is learning English.

The location is perfect. The food was in abundance. Breakfast buffet, afternoon tea, and a 3-course dinner. The food is so so good. All the meats were delicious, cured and cooked. Best cured meats I've ever had. The dinners were pretty special, different every night and with different themes. Afternoon tea is a bit of a treat, especially for the kids if they're allowed sweet things. There were fruits, sandwhiches, donuts, crepes, a chocolate fountain, pastries. The staff were awesome, kind, friendly, attentive and incredible with kids. We booked the Scoiattolo suite which was very comfortable for us, fun for the kids. Lovely views to the mountain and a big balcony to get some fresh air.

Franz is a really friendly host! We booked spontaneously and got a lot of help over text messages with fast answers. The location is perfect and the rooms and beds are very comfy. We felt super welcome and our dog too! We loved that we could make ourselves coffee and tea and get some biscuits. We definitely recommend the stay at Casa di Franz and we would definitely come back.

Perfect stay! Super nice and carring personnel. Delicious breakfast. Great private SPA experience. Despite our late arrival, we got an offer of home made dinner. Definitely place worth to come back.

Amazing hotel and friendly staff! The hotel is right next to the lift and it was very convenient to go on hikes without the need to take public transport or car. The hotel staff can recommend amazing places for hikes, and give us recommendations every morning during the breakfast.

The hotel is quite close to the ski lift Col Rodella, you can walk in 7-10 min with the boots on the distance from the hotel to the ski lift. Each hotel room has a dedicated locker for the ski and boots in the basement. The Spa zone has a wonderful jacuzzi in addition to the dry and wet saunas.
