Amazing Hotel. Staff were attentive but not intrusive. The pool is sea water and so relaxing. The restaurant was fantastic. Short walk into town a bit hilly on the way back but doable for us oldies. The room we booked had 2 bathrooms a small balcony and a sofa lounge area. Special mention to Mauro at the bar. Remembered our name after the first night and our drinks. Great service. Will return.

Tamara was very polite host. I felt very lucky to be there. Place was perfectly clean. I recieved more care than I could imagine, better than in some 5-star hotel in other places (shower gels, lavazza coffee and other little things). Apartment is located in very unique and convinient location on the ground floor of very old part of Sanremo. It is perfectly renovated in very smart way. Equiped with good quality kitchen equipment, moka pot, wi-fi, washingmaschine with buil-in dryer, air-con. Inside it felt like you are in very cosy fortre with very strong door, from outside of the window growing spiky roses. Ventilation is efficient enough to keep the place dry, fresh and healthy but you need to pay attension to that. I kept AC in dry mode most of the time and window open while I am there and it was perfect.

Hotel Alexander is a 5-minute walk from Sanremo Train Station, and around 300 metres from the beach and the shopping area around Via Matteotti. The Sanremo Casino is 1 km away.

We arrived and were informed that our reservation had been upgraded from a normal room to a suite at no additional charge. (We didn't complain :-) All of the people at the check-in desk were very friendly and helpful. Including showing us all of the highlights of the town on a map. The hotel is very centrally located with the beautiful old town just a few minutes walk away. We had reserved a parking space and since the spot was narrow one of the receptionists went with us to help us get into it. She also walked with us to show us our room, how to open the gate, door, etc. The room was very comfortable and well equipped and the bathroom was large and very modern. We were offered welcome drinks so we sat relaxing watching the world pass by in the front garden where breakfast is also served.

Very good, peaceful apartment, with private and secured parking place. Beaches (even free) for 5 minutes, big Coop for 10 minutes, city center 15 minutes. Beach view with palm trees from the balcony. The apartment is well equiped, kitchen, WiFi, huge smart tv (with Netflix access), etc... One of the most important for us was parking, because we were travdling by car, so we didnt have to carry our bags from hundreds of meters... Last but not the least, our host was an extraordinary trustful, helpful and nice person. Best I have ever met during my travels.
