Wonderful location in the countryside above the village of Atena Lucana. The warmest possible welcome. The surprise was that this is a farm that cultivates ancient grains -- not only used in all their baked goods and pastas, but giving the names to each of its 6 rooms. It's the type of place we love and we plan to return to have at least a meal in their beautiful restaurant with its spectacular views of the hills. The room was immaculately clean, linens were lovely, bed was not the most comfortable -- this was the only minus. A charming place over all.

The pool was excellent, clean, fresh and in a sheltered spot at the side of the hotel. Everywhere was very clean and the staff, a delight. The bed most comfortable. Melita, on reception made us welcome and was very helpful.

The property was unusual and beautiful in a lovely part of the old town with magnificent views. The owner was charming and made us feel very welcome. She upgraded us to her favorite room which was really special as well as a good recommendation for dinner and even reserved a table for us. She is passionate about her place and region and told us of places in the area that were worth a visit on our drive back to Naples. And they certainly were!
