From the first moment we entered until we left, Diana (Guest Relations) and her team treated us like royalty. Everyone was friendly, helpful and willing to go the extra mile. The room was stunning (along with the view). The bed was super comfortable and the pillows were fantastic (feather or memory foam!). The beach set up was luxurious and not crowded like the other hotels. The dining was top notch including the wine. We ate on the beach twice and the view was stunning. The breakfast buffet was always fresh and the coffee was good. The spa and wellness were clean and comfortable. We also had a couples massage which was very relaxing. Excelsior is a wonderful experience and we would recommend it highly.

Beautiful, very clean accomodation. Family like atmosphere, homemade food, beautiful environment surrounded by the vineyard and olive grove. We had very calm stay, we were chilling by the pool most of the time, having some trips nearby, also visited beaches, which are 10 min drive. Breakfast were exceptional, very tasty. Also the meals in the restaurant and drinks from the pool bar were great, at high level. We will come back for sure.

Excellent small family hotel in good location. One of the best breakfasts we've had in Italy. Free car parking in the hotel backyard. Nice and helpful staff. Very clean room. Nice roof terrace. Definitely would come back!

After 2600km of driving through Italy, this was the final stop before heading home. And what a final stop it was. It is hard to imagine that 20 or so years ago, this was a heap of ruins that were transformed into the fairytale castle you can only imagine. Each space is perfectly designed and decorated with plenty of secluded areas where you can unwind and relax. Breakfast was superb, and the bed was almost as comfy as the one at home. We were sad to leave, but we will return soon.

It is a quiet, characterful building with wonderful rural views and next to the historic town of Gradara. So you have the contrast between this quiet retreat and within 50 metres, an interesting castle and town and lots of restaurants. Parking is free and the autoroute, is accessible as are Rimini and San Merino..

Hotel Posillipo offers a fine seafood restaurant and a terrace with swimming pool, both of which offer views of the Adriatic Coast. All rooms offer sea views and free Wi-Fi.

What an incredible place, it was quiet and isolated, just as we hoped for. The house, is lovely, and the pool and hot tub ever better. Cannot believe the value for money. The host is incredible, very lovely and attentive - what a perfect holiday.
