Stunning location, great pool, lovely food, breakfast was fantastic I love the way it's served as a banquet at the table. Immaculately clean, staff very friendly and attentive. Excellent shower and comfy beds. Couldn't fault it in anyway it was perfect.

Sasseta Alta is situated in Scansano and has a heated pool and garden views. Beauty services is available for guests.

Excellent secluded location on a hill (you have to take a dirt road, approx 1.5 km), so you're only there with the people staying at the other houses/appartments and the staff :) The outdoor organic lake is lovely. There is a fine breeze up there, so it doesn't feel as hot as it otherwise might in summer temperatures. There is a spa that we didn't use but which might come in handy when it's colder (the pool looked shallow at first sight, so probably more for treatments than swimming). The half-house was spacious with a kitchenette and terrace, fans were provided for both rooms. There was also a European outlet adaptor. The local cosmetic supplies were really nice. We enjoyed both the buffet breakfast and dinner, especially the choice of fruit and vegetables. The sea is a bit less than an hour's drive, nearby Scansano has a well-supplied Coop. There are a lot of wineries around, we chose Fattoria Le Pupille which I can recommend. If you're looking for a memorable place to stay in Tuscany, look no further, Sasseta Alta is your choice!
