We had a wonderful stay at La Maddalena and the apartment was great. It had everything you need for preparing meals at home and it was very well planned. It was also very nice to have an aircon when it's hot outside and it worked very well. The apartment is situated in a perfect spot and it has its own parking lot which makes it easy to come and go whenever you like. It just takes a few minutes to walk down to the harbour and the busy streets where you find a lot of nice restaurants and bars. There is also a big supermarket just a few minutes away by foot. We'd love to stay there again when in La Maddalena next time. Daniele is a very kind, serviceminded and a great host and everything with checking in and out went very fast and smoothly.

Hotel's location within Palau excellent with a great view, excellent restaurant, and room with easy access to the pool. Outstanding pool and boat tour. Genuinely friendly service from the entire staff during stay. Matteo very knowledgeable and tried really hard to solve the wifi issue. Giovanni always helpful at the front desk. Gaetano super-friendly and fun to chat with in the restaurant; Naceur very professional and personal service in the restaurant; and Lorenzo in the bar. Mour Talla-Thiam quietly doing his job as chauffeur and more.

Welcomed in as family from the moment Giovanni warmly greeted us, and Simone’s lovely smile at the bar as he rustled up cocktails. Especially grateful tor the quiet season upgrade into the top suite. Highlights were breakfasts outside in the beautiful gardens by the pool looked after my Emanuella, relaxed dinners over red wine in the bar lounge and an impromptu concert with Giovanni singing and playing guitar. Grazie a tutti!

We initially arrived to a different hotel (5*) booked for the entire stay. We quickly realized that 5* standard in Sardinia is not what you get in other countries. The value for money is very low. You feel being ripped off for everything. Facilities very old.. luckily and by chance we found Tenuta Pilastru. The big difference to many hotels we checked on Sardinia is 1) Professional employees - great service everywhere (which is not given in Italy) from reception to restaurant (we were given also free upgrade of the room as it had no balcony - very nice gesture, and we actually prolonged our stay!) 2) NEW facilities, also not given in Italy. Not bland colors and old furniture. New bathroom, new bedroom, everything is of high quality and new, finally felt back to 2023 (in other hotel it was back in 70s). 3) location - is great hidden in the nature, beautiful to relax. Very well taken care of! 4) food in the restaurant was great and not overpriced, freshly made and very tasty.
