- the key handover was easy, - we found a parking spot in the blue zone around the corner = not free, but cheap - wifi is excellent - the 'cornetto con crema' (creme anglaise) in the bakery was very good, the owner there was very friendly and a cheer-up in the morning (absolutely not annoying if you want to be left alone in the mornings)

A lot of options on your breakfast. Every staffs I met during the stay were absolutely friendly and helpful. Fast response whenever i sent the messages which i am super appreciate. The Spa better needs to reserved in advanced (the maximum capacity is 8 guests in an hour).

What a wonderful way to look back and understand the culture of the day (400 BC) in beautiful Matera. MOYΣEION recreates the experience with the design of the hotel, the people, food, pool, furniture, architecture, right down to the dinner plates, cups and cutlery. The staff are all trained in the fields they love - like archaeology and share the journey. They also demonstrate beautiful music using instruments of the day. It's incredible. On top of this, the chef does an amazing modern interpretation of food from 400BC. It is all very cool. It is totally worth going with the flow and fully embracing and immersing yourself in the experience. We did, and we were rewarded for it. Finally, the staff are exceptional. So kind and attentive. They make it perfect.

Cool, super important in Matera’s hot August weather. Comfortable, spacious, and the pool is obviously incredible. (The temperature can’t be changed, it’s like a lightly warm tub. Still refreshing)

The room was spacious and comfortable. It was a real feast for the eyes. We have not stayed in a nicer hotel. Everything is thought out down to the last detail, authenticity intertwines with comfortable modernity. You can even see fossils in the ceiling and walls! Very comfortable bed, amazing shower and spa bath. The front desk is staffed by wonderful and helpful people. They can order you dinner at a selected restaurant, excursions, etc. We were particularly impressed by the breakfast buffet lady. Her warmth and smile made the all days special. Thank you very much! Shower facilities could be replenished more often (we stayed 4 nights). Could also be a couple of simple wine glasses (we only found two plastic ones, which were later thrown away by the maid). It doesn't matter if you choose the hotel for one or several nights, it will definitely not disappoint you. Both a great location and an exclusive interior and warm staff.
