A superb heritage property tucked away in the quiet lanes of Muthialpet! This huge house offers ample space with a great mix of old-world charm and modern necessity (like the water purifier and AC). The parking right at the gate was a lifesaver for our luggage. Ambrose is a wonderful host who ensured our check-in was smooth and our breakfast was on time. Suggestions to make it 5-star: We suggest a deep clean of the fridge and fixing a water leak near the ground floor washroom to improve safety. Also, we hope the management secures and opens the terrace soon—it would be a magical spot to relax under the sky. Overall, a lovely stay that I would recommend to larger groups looking for comfort and character."

The property is a charming boutique hotel with old-world charm. The staff were friendly, and the room was large and comfortable. I had a good night's sleep, and a decent breakfast from a reasonable selection of food. There was a lovely pool, too. The location was great, too--in the middle of the French quarters, and close to, but not too close to the beach, which was pretty noisy during the Christmas Eve celebrations. A great experience, overall.

Excellent stay at this hotel! The room was beautifully designed, functional, super clean and comfortable. Since im a light sleeper I was worried about the noise, I can tell you i didn’t hear anything and had a great night sleep. The laundry service is immaculate The breakfast was delicious, best dosa I ever had. Also would like to add how complete it is. It included: fruit, eggs, dosa and coffee. Before leaving, I had a couple of drinks at the bar. The mocktails are refreshing and the iced coffee and snacks I had at the bar were really good. Would love to thank you Hanes for all your help sorting out so many things which made my stay memorable.

The greenery in and around the property was amazing . A fantastic resort , the perfect getaway from the hustle and chaos of the city life . Close proximity to the Promenade beach was an icing on the cake ! I had to switch my room due to water leakage issues from the AC vent , the staff was quite helpful and resolved the issues asap. Good vegetarian and non-vegetarian spread for breakfast and quite a good menu on their High-Tea . Would recommend their filter coffee and live dosa counter .

Dune is an exceptional place to stay. A truly peaceful and relaxing setting with a real flavour of Indian hospitality. Set against a deserted beach but for the fishing bots, in tropical grounds, there are two beautiful pools. Restaurant serves excellent food- we ate there all 4 days of our stay. Treatments are wonderful and reasonably priced. Staying in bungalows furnished with traditional furnishings and huge beds is a refreshing change. If you’re looking for a flashy 5 star international hotel, it’s not for you - but if you’re looking want to relax and enjoy a real Indian welcome from outstanding staff, Dune is waiting for you! Don’t miss it.
