The location is excellent, if your plan is to stay and explore the so called White Town of Puducherry. I loved the beautiful, historical building and especially the courtyard swimming pool. The staff was excellent: very polite, helpful, and friendly. My room was beautiful, spacious and clean with excellent amenities. I also enjoyed a lovely Keralan-style massage at their Ayurvedic Centre. Food was tasty and the menu had a good choice of varieties.

Wonderful staff. They are very helpful and patient. Rooms are clean and have lovely heritage decor. The location is great. It's just a short walk to the beach and close to so many restaurants and cafes. Breakfast at their Mira cafe has a good selection of Indian and international choices. I especially enjoyed an early morning dip in the quaint courtyard pool. I had an issue with my taxi. This was not the responsibility of the hotel but they went above and beyond to assist me. I'm very grateful for their kindness.

Dune is an exceptional place to stay. A truly peaceful and relaxing setting with a real flavour of Indian hospitality. Set against a deserted beach but for the fishing bots, in tropical grounds, there are two beautiful pools. Restaurant serves excellent food- we ate there all 4 days of our stay. Treatments are wonderful and reasonably priced. Staying in bungalows furnished with traditional furnishings and huge beds is a refreshing change. If you’re looking for a flashy 5 star international hotel, it’s not for you - but if you’re looking want to relax and enjoy a real Indian welcome from outstanding staff, Dune is waiting for you! Don’t miss it.

A superb heritage property tucked away in the quiet lanes of Muthialpet! This huge house offers ample space with a great mix of old-world charm and modern necessity (like the water purifier and AC). The parking right at the gate was a lifesaver for our luggage. Ambrose is a wonderful host who ensured our check-in was smooth and our breakfast was on time. Suggestions to make it 5-star: We suggest a deep clean of the fridge and fixing a water leak near the ground floor washroom to improve safety. Also, we hope the management secures and opens the terrace soon—it would be a magical spot to relax under the sky. Overall, a lovely stay that I would recommend to larger groups looking for comfort and character."

The location is excellent, if your plan is to stay and explore the so called White Town of Puducherry. I loved the beautiful, historical building and especially the courtyard swimming pool. Wonderful staff. They are very helpful and patient. Rooms are clean and have lovely heritage decor. The location is great. We had 2 rooms, Standard double and Terrace suite. Terrace suite was very spacious and calm. but Standard double was on ground floor on side of courtyard where all meals were served during the breakfast, lunch and dinner hours. It got very noisy during the day and difficult to relax. Food was awesome here, staff was very courteous and location was also good to explore french quarters. it is a cute 15 room property.
