Staying true to their philosophy of being eco-friendly, this CGH property was quiet and calm and celebrated the local food and culture. The staff were simply fabulous- special note of thanks to Jitin and Kavya from Chakara, Akhil from the Shack and of course the very talented Rizwan who played the music live (and let me sing as well!). We were truly touched by how accommodating everyone was! If you like a private, relaxed stay look nowhere else!

The combination of Ayurveda and yoga here is very impactful. Dr. Anju was very knowledgeable and kind. Therapist Viji was very gentle and caring. Yoga instructor Deepak was too good. The place is totally clean, 3 spacious rooms and the area is near all sights reachable by foot and still in a calm area with a lovely backyard where we relaxed. It's a wonderful style of the building, which Paul and his family gave to the old building which is remarkable. Lovely Paul, the Manager makes this place to the warmest welcome we had so far in India. He helped us with everything we asked for, gave us recommendations for restaurants, tours, shops etc and hosted us with delicious Indian breakfast. He was always around when we needed him and makes the place best in town.

This is truly a unique place to stay, which met our expectations. Vijo, Sam and Tom made it a memorable stay. Extremely welcoming and super friendly, we were made to feel at home. The food is excellent and dining is a communal affair with other guests, which is great as you can share tips on your trip. The gardens are lovely, the location a little out of the way but that is why we chose this homestay. Vijo has a selection of activities you can partake in. We did a few and loved the massage and cooking lesson. If you want a truly memorable experience which is chilled with good food, choose here!

This is a beautiful hotel with amazing garden and swimming poll area on the lake shores! Staff is so helpful and friendly. They helped us a lot with some ginger mixture when we had stomach issue. Gorgeous, indian decor, clean and spacious room (better book the one with lake view), good breakfast. Quite pricy but you have to pay for good standard in India. Nothing within walking distance (not an issue, just FYI), perfect for relax and doing nothing. :)

Situated next to Alleppey long sandy beach, short stroll to Allepey station, smooth check in process, clean room and bathroom, my Partner was pleased with the Ayurvedic SPA massage by the new girl (Sorry, she missed her name), restaurant was really good for breaky and dinner. Overall, we had a pleasent stay
