Our stay at Tihany Bungalows was truly magical. Cozy cabins surrounded by nature, with breathtaking views of Lake Balaton — it felt like a dream. The spa with panoramic windows was an absolute highlight: soaking in warm water while gazing out at the lake and sky was pure serenity. Every morning we were greeted by swallows, and during the day we spotted little lizards darting over the stones — a beautiful glimpse of wildlife in a peaceful setting. Everything here invites you to slow down, recharge, and simply enjoy the moment. We will definitely come back — it’s one of those rare places that stays with you.

We chose this hotel mainly based on location and reviews — but what we discovered truly amazed us! This is a real paradise for children. Yes, parents are well taken care of too, but the main guests here are definitely the kids. Everything throughout the hotel is designed with children in mind: toy cars, play areas, drawing boards around every corner, a kids’ room, a special buffet at child height with a child-friendly menu, and a water park with zones for all ages. We only wish we had known about this place when our kids were younger. Of course, when you’re on holiday with kids, you’re still a parent — but this hotel makes life so much easier.

Anna, the landlady, is of a hospitable nature and communicates in a philoxenious manner by heart. A person who truly provides all guests with the feeling of home. The only aspect the place may lack is the opportunity to cook for oneself; however, having the - Michelin Guide recommend Bistro Zelna with best chef and friend I know, Jean-Paul - next door generously compensates for those needs. As of its surroundings... Sourrounded by keenly alive and spirited neighbourhood, bustling and full of life, an excellent choice for those who want to experience the bubbly nightlife of Balatonfüred.  Still, by the time the sun arises, you can feel as you adapt to the rhythm of one calm heartbeat, a union of the healing spirit of nature and the honorability of the State Heart Hospital. The service was absolutely fantastic. We were upgraded for free at check in as they had some nicer rooms available than the one that we had booked. We loved the made to order breakfast each morning and the pool and loungers area was really nice to have. The hotel was a very short walk from the marina. You could tell that the staff took a lot of pride in their hotel. Would absolutely stay here again if I was to ever return to the area.

The hotel was truly exceptional. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond, professional, welcoming, and always ready to help. The room was spacious, beautifully maintained, perfect balance of comfort and style. I was traveling with my daughter and had requested separate beds, but to my surprise the staff kindly provided us with an additional room at no extra cost. It was completely unexpected and incredibly thoughtful. The property itself was stunning, with excellent facilities and a calm, relaxed atmosphere that made the stay feel special and comfortable. The lakeside location couldn’t have been better, and every detail of the experience felt first-class. The cake we received as a gift was just perfect! I would highly recommend this hotel and would gladly return.
