It is really close to the forest and has a great, very naturalistic atmosphere. The staff is very kind and friendly. The wellness part is smaller but enough to have some relax. The breakfast has a pretty good selection even though the hotel itself is smaller. They could prepare the room earlier than the actual check in (for an extra charge).

The 4-star Avar Hotel was built in 2020 and it is located at the foot of the Mátra mountain. It offers garden, wellness center, 24-hour front desk, room service and luggage storage.

Nice resort with hot springs, a pool, and a gym — though the facilities are a bit dated. Nothing beats a hot soak after skiing. The front desk staff were super friendly and helpful. All in all, worth a stay!

Everything was very nice, staff was friendly and helpful. We occupied room in a basement that had direct access to parking, this was awesome. Hotel was designed with an antique furniture that gives a special charm to this place.

Stayed at Zsuzsanna wing. Good value for the money. Wellness and swimming pool are better than I expected from a 3star hotel. The location is also perfect for outdoor sports. Bowling and billiard.
