The design and appearance of the hotel are top-notch, with a modern and elegant atmosphere that creates a truly impressive experience. However, the reception staff could benefit from matching this high standard in terms of customer service, as they were somewhat less welcoming and polite than expected. On a more positive note, the staff in the restaurant were absolutely fantastic, and their kindness and professionalism made our stay even more enjoyable. Their attentiveness truly enhanced our overall experience at the hotel.

Areal, location, swimming pools - inside and outside, great garden and jazucci. Water inside swimming pool was really amazing. Great food both in SteakHouse and Pizzeria, even the prices were higher. Nice spot for the trips around - historical Buje, close to Piran, Portoroz, Trieste.

It was the most amazing and tranquil place we have ever stayed. The staff went above and beyond and couldn't have been more pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was delicious, with plenty of choices. The place was spotless and beautifully decorated. The pool area was lovely, and the welness room was so peaceful with amazing views.

My 4th stay here, so I can only repeat: I have been traveling in Croatia since many years - meanwhile in all 21 counties (županije incl. Zagreb) - and I must have stayed in more than 30 different guesthouses and hotels. From the smallest family pension in the countryside to large 4-star hotels. And the Boutique Hotel Vela Vrata was one of my very best experiences ever! :D Beautiful, lovely decorated house and very clean room with nice furniture. This time I treated myself to the Junior Suite with balcony and the large room with its beautiful antique mirror is really a hit! Very friendly staff, SUPER breakfast with fresh and high quality food from a large selection!!! :D Well working WiFi, free parking and I also like the big indoor pool very much. Buzet itself is very romantic and beautiful. This time I have stayed for two nights on my way home to Dalmatia. The Hotel has a really supreme restaurant and it was wonderful to eat again one of the best dinner I had ever in Croatia. Another perfect stay and I will quite sure stay here again. Hvala vama od srca!

The facilities were amazing, very well equipped and cozy. There is everything (and more) one needs to spend carefree and relaxed getaway. Our family had the most amazing holiday in this facility. The host is extra helpful and kind and we would highly recommend this Villa to others. There were swallows visiting the pool several times a day and performing an amazing performance of nature, an amazing extra feature.
