Lovely spot in Glasgow right next to a park. Very quiet and peaceful but lots of places to eat just down the street. We had issues getting to the hotel with streets closed for a bike race but the staff were extremely helpful in making sure we found a way there. Very supportive. The room was large and very comfortable and breakfast was great too.

Excellent location, splendid staff and more than good breakfast.

My 3 children and I stayed one night, sadly couldnt stay longer, and had such a peaceful and relaxing evening with a fabulous, hearty breakfast in the morning. All very fresh and pretty much every taste catered for. We couldnt get booked into use the spa/pool until just after check-out time as it was busy but im very pleased to say this wasnt a problem for the hotel staff at all. The hotel was beautifully decorated, every inch was clean. Beds were very comfy, towels fluffy, the heating in the room was easy to control. Hot shower even for the last in line (me)! The room service was super quick, had a very tasty pizza and noodles, service with a smile and incredibly hospitable - all the staff were lovely - typical salt of the earth Glaswegians! I will certainly book again the next time my family and I have an overnight trip to Glasgow 💕

Loved how funky the place was. Lounges in the hallways, music playing, a very lively atmosphere. It didn't have the usual awkward feeling of a hostel. And surprisingly comfortable beds!

The receptionist (Ron! Give this man a raise please) is the kindest, funniest and most lovely Scot I came across here, maybe even the most lovely person of the UK, we had such a warm welcome by him, definitely an amazing way to kick off your stay! The other staff is also very very helpful and amongst the kindest I’ve ever come across in my years of traveling. Well that is just the beginning, now come the rooms. The decor is absolutely amazing, super warm and cozy. The bed is absurdly comfortable and big and the bathroom is extremely clean and modern. The corridors are clean and look very safe because they’re well equipped with a lot of firedoors, there’s carpet and look very safe and cozy just like the room.

Between Glasgow and Edinburgh, the DoubleTree by Hilton Glasgow Strathclyde is a 30-minute drive from both Glasgow and Edinburgh Airports.
