Breakfast and the location were both superb. The breakfast is made to order from a menu which has many choices. The location is within walking distance of many of the major sights in the city. The combination of walking and a few Ubers worked well.

I loved how they made you feel welcomed and important the moment you walk through the doors for check-in. Loved the decor. it's very open and modern with a twist. The refreshment offer on arrival is lovely. The rooms are beautiful, exceptionally clean, and spacious. The bed is absolutely life. It's like a cloud. The complementary cocktails in our room and truffles were delightful. SAMBASUSHI is my favourite restaurant in Edinburgh. The ambience, the food, and staff are top of their game. Cocktails were lovely. Everything was amazing. You can't fault the W. It's very hard to say bad things about The W. I love staying with them! I have already booked my next stay!

I had 2 seperate but consecutive bookings and the staff were incredibly helpful in making sure we were in the same room as well as checking us in early. The beds are fantastically comfortable and the shower is heavenly, 10/10 recommend for Edinburgh stays!

Very good hotel, with an amazing location. All the staff was very nice and friendly.

We like the swimming pool, the breakfast and the accessibility to the city centre (3 direct busses !), the proximity of portobello beach to take a walk and have dinner in front of the sea and the staff was very kind !
