Everything was amazing. The thought that had gone into the style and decor was incredible. The garden and pool was just amazing, for an ancient property in the centre of town. It was peaceful and relaxing. Our room was lovely, with a separate sleeping area for the children. The food was delicious; and made more enjoyable by all the guests sitting at a huge dining table.

Easy to find with loads of free parking. The staff speak good English and are very friendly and professional. The rooms are very large, clean, well appointed and very comfortable (apart from our air conditioning wasn’t working properly - which was the main reason we chose this hotel. They did try to fix it but weren’t successful). The food in the restaurant is excellent and reasonably priced.

The room had everything you wish for. Very clean and a beautiful view to the mountains. The hotel has a relaxing lounge and garden where you can just enjoying the surroundings or make friends with other guests. We were lucky to have the Tour De France going through town. The town itself has plenty of restaurants, shops and great for hiking, biking and running The lady at reception gave us a very warm welcome

The hotel were very helpful. Helped with the bags, and then directed us to the ski hire just round the corner, where we were able to get seen right away the evening before we started skiing. Excellent breakfast!

Location is outstanding, we came back here partly because of the views. The staff are always friendly, helpful and polite. We love the charcuterie there. Breakfast was lovely and a great selection. Our room was clean, a proper shower, not a bath and the bed was comfortable. Balcony had amazing views.

Breakfast was good! Open buffet with a variety of sweet and savoury things :) Restaurant is delicious - food was excellent and the bedrooms were clean and comfy.

We arrived after the hotel restaurant had closed. We phoned reception on the way to let them know we would be late. They kept some food warm for us; when we arrived, the owner (?) set a little table for us and served us a delicious 3 course vegetarian meal, chatting good-humouredly all the time. Great customer service! Breakfast was very generous (and delicious). Hotel location is excellent: very close to central La Bourboule.
