Location is great in the historic center of the city. Not easy to find though. Reception, room and cervices were great.

Ideally set in the historic La Rochelle, this 17th-century building overlooks the old harbour. Hôtel De La Monnaie is decorated by artworks and features a terrace and a wellness centre.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The location was convenient yet not in the center of traffic. The staff was friendly, informative, but also non-intrusive. The breakfast expansive. The facility was quickly and unique and well maintained.

Great value. Great for having all cooking facilitys in your room nice big shower so you can save water and have a shower together.very quite 15 minites walk through mariner to main town and bars and safe parking for your CAR will stay there again wayne and Shan.

I had a wonderful stay at this accommodation. Excellent central location in walking distance to everything. A friendly welcome and courteous and helpful staff at all times. The room and bathroom were of a decent size. The basic essentials are at hand. The bed was comfortable and the bathtub was an unexpected delight. The only one downfall is that although the doors and walls look soundproof, they are not. Unfortunately I was waken each morning (I had hoped to sleep in) early from the noise made by the cleaning team. And a neighbour guest who thought it ok to be banging on their bedroom door at 530 in the morning for over 30 mins. The management took my comments to this appropriately. The garden is a nice place to unwind and have a drink. Breakfast choice was abundant. Nice that is goes to 1200. Pet friendly but the charge per night of eur 20 I find over the top. If one is lucky one can park on the street in front of the hotel (8 euros for 8 hours 9-12 and 1409-1830). If not, one can park in the public underground parking two minutes away but unfortunately not as cheap as the street parking. Woukd highly recommend this place and look forward to my next visit hopefully soon.

Excellent variety of fresh fruits, artisanal breads and cereals for breakfast, with a great choice of teas and coffees Safe and secure throughout, lovely swimming pool and outside area, peaceful and calm. Hosts very friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Great décor!

I wish I could have stayed longer! My room was lovely with its own terrace. The hotel is partnered with a restaurant and it was so nice to eat across the street overlooking the bay. Julien was gracious and so helpful. As a single and older traveler, I felt safe and I highly recommend this hotel.
