The view was absolutely fantastic. We were lucky enough to get what was probably the best-located room within our category — waking up to see the castle and the sea as soon as we opened the curtains was unforgettable. The pool was also great, perfect for relaxing. The staff were generally friendly, with just one or two exceptions. The room was beautifully designed, with everything well laid out and thoughtfully arranged. It really allowed us to unwind. The atmosphere in the restaurant was also very pleasant and enjoyable

Hotel Avenida is a really great place. good location, close to the train station and the old town is reachable by 30 min walk or there are city buses. Beautiful decoration, and really friendly staff both at reception and in the restaurant. :) There is a breakfast buffet available as well as other choices if you prefer. The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I will definitely be back if I visit Coruña again.

This hotel is located in the centre of A Coruña, a short walk to the port. Enjoy fine Galician cuisine in its restaurant and cheerful cafe. Have easy access to the beach, university and local shops.

We stayed as a family of 8 with mixed ages. One of or family members has learning disabilities and another has Dementia. The hotel staff could not have been any more helpful and kind to our needs. They had no problem in supplying extra bedding when needed etc. Our family member with dementia left the hotel alone and got lost. The hotel could not have been more helpful in helping us with this distressing matter. Our hotel rooms were large clean and comfortable, cleaned every day and our beds remade for us daily. Yes they are a little dated but nothing that made our stay uncomfortable. We had read complaints about outside noise. A Coruna is a very populated city and has bars everywhere open til late at night so outside noise is to be expected. With windows closed there is no noise. We suggest taking a small fan to cope with heat! This hotel is 2 star. We felt that reviewers wanted 5 star accommodator for the same price. The hotel has a small coffee bar with excellent coffee and a piece of cake with every cup. There are three bars/cafes very near by serving food/drinks. The hotel is in excellent position for access the main area of the city and close to the lovely beaches and marina. A Coruna is my home town and Hotel Santa Catalina is one of the best lower budget hotels I've stayed in. Recommend you give it a try! Thank you to all the staff for a great holiday

Everything about Avenida Lofts was great! The fact that it is next to the train station made it perfect for our early train trips. No need to stress about the time it would take a taxi to get to the train station. This was the main reason I chose this place, but in the future I will book this place also because it is great! The room was spacious, with excellent kitchen facilities, a large tv, an excellent shower, and a super-comfortable bed. The fact that it is serviced by Avenida Hotels (with 24 hour reception desk, and a great restaurant: Restaurante Eira) made the whole stay stress-free and gave us access to all we needed, including a very nice and reasonably priced "menu del dia" in Eira. We will be back!
