My stay at this hotel was nothing short of extraordinary. The food was incredibly delicious; every meal felt like a special treat. One of the highlights of my stay was the soothing massage I received—it was so relaxing that I nearly fell asleep. The hotel's location is perfect, within walking distance of everything Mindo has to offer in terms of tourism and culture. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone seeking a serene and luxurious experience.

We stayed at Las Terrazas de Dana for 4 nights. It is a real oasis! Our room with the terrace was very nice. The garden is beautifully landscaped and you can watch hummingbirds and other beautiful birds from your own terrace. The breakfast is rich and delicious. David is very helpful and friendly. Marco and Freddy are also always concerned about the well-being of the guests. The whole staff is very friendly. We had also booked a bird tour through David. The tour with our guide Natalie was very good. We were able to see many birds. David also arranged cab transportation to the airport for us. The cab ride was pleasant and relaxing. We would definitely book this accommodation again and can only recommend it.

A really gorgeous property with an excellent breakfast. The room felt like a giant treehouse, complete with a hammock on the balcony! Very peaceful and serene place to unwind in Mindo. The restaurant food was delicious, and the included breakfast was amazing (and filling!).

On the outside the cabins look a little dated and shabby but once inside they are very cosy and comfortable. We had Cabin 15 and the views all around were of the forest and so peaceful. For the visiting birder Sachatamia is an excellent choice with plenty of action going on around the fruit and hummingbird feeders. It’s possible to get some wonderful photographs. There are plenty of trails to walk around for those that want some extra exercise. The food was probably the best we experienced in our 10 days in the Mindo area. Needless to say all the staff were warm and friendly.

With mountain views, Eden Treehouse is located in Mindo and has a restaurant, room service, snack bar, garden, terrace and barbecue.

The location was close to town and the bus stop to Quito is less than 10min walking distance. The staff were so warm and accommodating. I didn't want to leave. The room was as per described in the description. The TV has Netflix already set up so you can enjoy some entertainment. This came in handy for me as the only day I had for activities was a wet one, so I stayed in and loved every minute. Not sure what previous people were complaining about with the breakfast. It was a good balanced breakfast enough to keep me full all day and the juice was fresh made. I didn't like egg yolks and the staff went out of their way to make my eggs differently the next morning. I honestly don't have anything negative to say about the accommodation. It is a shame I didn't get to try the pool.

The cabin and grounds are idyllic and charming. There is a mostly private garden, and yes, a river (or at least a creek) running past. There is good birding all around, and a good pizza restaurant nearby.
