We had the most wonderful and relaxing stay. The staff are all excellent, from the check in counter, to the doorman, the waiter and waitress as well as the spa. I recommend trying the reflexology treatment at the spa.

This is a great place to stay at! It's location is PERFECT to view the two castles! Our room was awesome; had two balconies, one had a view of the Neuschwanstein Castle and the other looked out over the gorgeous lake. The included breakfast is likely the best one we've had; lots of choices! Staff was wonderful and very accommodating. The available parking was very handy as well. We just left the car there and walked around as everything is in close proximity.

Hotel Weinbauer is a traditional hotel peacefully and central located in Schwangau, 1.5 km from Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau Castles. Built in 1865, the cosy hotel is decorated with frescoes.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming throughout my visit. One of the nicest surprises was discovering that the property has a spa—it made the stay feel extra relaxing and special. The breakfast was also excellent, with a great variety and fresh options to start the day right. Overall, a very enjoyable experience. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

The best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The staff are incredibly warm and welcoming, always greeting you with a smile — something you truly appreciate after a five-hour journey. The rooms are stunning, with a magical atmosphere and a breathtaking view of the castle. Honestly, the price feels almost too low for what the hotel offers. You can also book tickets for both castles directly through them, and they’ll hand them to you the next morning — super convenient. They offer the possibility to dine at their restaurant as well. We arrived too late for dinner, but they still prepared a tasting platter for two with sausages, cured meats, cheese, cherry tomatoes, and plenty of their delicious homemade bread. We couldn’t even finish it! Breakfast was absolutely outstanding — calling it “complete” would be an understatement. All in all, highly recommended. If I had to point out a flaw, it would be the flies — they’re everywhere. But hey, we still haven’t figured out how to control insect minds, so…

The SPA experience was amazing, didn’t have many people so felt comfortably fine. The memory mattresses were cool. The breakfast was super tasty!!! I wish to come back with my family again. This visit was too short, to enjoy the facilities. Loved also the perfectly white towels and bed lining. Superb!

The location! 🤩 The hotel is located up the hill in Hopfen am See, a stunning place in the Allgäu region with breathtaking views all around, most of all of Schloss Neuschwanstein which can be seen from a distance. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful at all times, the apartment was spacious and the food was exceptional (organic and locally grown) - fantastic breakfast buffet and a delicious choice of freshly cooked dishes every evening. The pool area is spacious and welcoming and there are free aquagym courses on offer.

Set in a private park in Füssen, the hideauts hotels Der Rosengarten offers views of the Alps and the Hohes Schloss Castle. Guests enjoy a small spa and cosy rooms with free Wi-Fi.

Excellent location, convenient parking, high level of cleanliness, and friendly staff. The sauna was a great addition, the room had very good heating, and the window blinds ensured a comfortable rest. It was a perfect place for a short trip to Neuschwanstein Castle.
