The style of the hotel is of old fashioned opulence in the modern day. Beautifully attired, staff excellent throughout from the reception to breakfast. Smoking room and piano bar, easy to think its the 1920's. Will be coming back to this hotel

The breakfast and all the meals at the hotel were truly excellent. I would encourage people to stay at this hotel for the food alone, but the staff were all courteous, effective and helpful. This is a fine example of a fine family owned hotel with excellent food. The location in a pretty village about 12 miles from downtown Freiburg was very good for walking and enjoying the open air life.

Lovely location by the mountains. Fantastic service by the staff, clean and modern interior with fantastic views over the landscapes. We only spent night but had we known how lovely it’d be in person we would have stayed for longer.
