Getting to the location is vey easy by car, it is possible to park for free in the vicinity (though there is no reserved spot). The apartment is easy to get to, we received the details to enter before visiting. There is now key however, which may be offputting for some, but it was very simple and worked well. The room apartment was well equipped, with great ambient. Was great to have the extra humidifier. Very much rcommended for couples!

Large car park, comfortable room, efficient reception, good breakfast, relatively easy access from autobahn. Located in a surprisingly leafy suburb of Essen with good potential for woodland walks and even a late night kebab not too far away.

This small family-run hotel is beautifully located between the Werden and Kettwig districts of Essen, 7 km from Lake Baldeneysee and 8 km from the Folkwang Museum. Hotel Rutherbach offers free WiFi.
