We loved everything about this hotel! The gardens and pool area are beautiful, food was great, so many options at breakfast, Yerling and Mali at the spa were outstanding. The garden with access to the beach was very convenient and the location was perfect. We felt the value for what we paid was exceptional.

lovely, spacious air conditioned rooms, we had a sea view. great pool area with swim up bar which was never too crowded. Free surf board hire and very good lesson rates through a surf company connected with the hotel. Walking distance to everything.

The staff and location at Ocho Bungalows are excellent. The property is located directly on the beach with walking to everything in Tamarindo. Jose, Sebastian and Miguel were very attentive, as well as all employees at the resort. We ate most of our meals at the resort, and the food is very good. There is a small private pool with a view of the beach, which was very relaxing. The rooms are beautifully decorated and clean. This is a very unique and special boutique resort.
