This is a smartly understated hotel with exceptional staff, fantastic a la carte buffet breakfast and a great location. The rooms are well appointed, very comfortable, spacious and clean. I spent my birthday there and the staff provided little bday touches such as in room petit four and breakfast cake with candle, not over the top but a lovely touch. All of the staff were a pleasure to deal with, however particular stand outs were David the doorman who accompanied me to the nearest shop to buy an adapter, Gary who was so helpful when we needed to organise an early start airport car and breakfast, and Martin the concierge who was helpful even before we arrived with details of our booking and provided us with invaluable support during our stay. Highly recommended, fantastic experience here.

Breakfast was amazing, but the waiter, Daniel made it exceptional with his friendliness and the fact that he greeted us all by name! The front door staff were also very helpful and friendly. I also was surprised by my gift of wine in my room received from our housekeeping staff, that made it extra special! Overall, I had a wonderful stay!

It was immaculate x nothing was too much trouble x we found that a particular member of staff called Jesus was more than helpful and was keen to look after us with information on the places around the city x we would rate him very highly x we loved our stay overall and will definitely return x As a chef I was absolutely delighted to meet alex tridente who is an amazing chef and a lovely man x he cooked for my wife and I and served us with a fantastic stuffed pasta dish x
