The pictures don't make it justice. This is THE BEST VIEW in the whole of the island. 3 times, when doing tours, the guides would point up (from the beach/ sea) and say "that inn on the top of the hill is the most exclusive view you can get, with a price tag to match". You literally wake up to a postcard, no other buildings on sight. Just the mountain, the beach and the sea. As for everything else: Staff is 11/10. Very attentive from beginning to end. Included breakfast again 11/10. Good quality, great selection. We actually ordered some additional stuff from the kitchen during breakfast and we're surprised when we looked at the bill and it wasn't an extra. The room is 10/10, spacious and comfortable, nice bathroom. They even left little sweets for us at our first and last night. The pool, again, has the best view you will ever lounge to. The hotel thoroughly exceeded expectations.

Everything!! Oriented towards one of the best views of the island, Pousada Maravilha is an authentic gem of natural beauty!! Constructed with natural resources largely, it blends nicely with the landscape and makes you feel part of it. The lovely staff just brings the whole experience to a different level. The restaurant is again amazing. All dishes we’ve tried were awesome.

The Pousada itself is stunning, easy to reach and with a very good position (close to beaches and restaurants). The staff is simply amazing: Kelly, Teo, Xiomara you made our stay even more incredible. Last but not least, the restaurant: we are a bit foody and we tried the most recommended ones, Pousada do Vale's restaurant is the best in the island.

The views are outstanding. Bungalows are stunning - ours was upstairs with sea view. Pool was lovely. Nearby shop, easy access to town/beaches. 2 members of staff were exemplary and were happy to make things easier for us by speaking English (Ana and Paolo)
