Falkensteiner Schlosshotel Velden is a textbook example of top hotel service and a source of inspiration for all hotels developing their luxury offer. The Aquapura SPA Wellness Centre stretches a staggering 3600 square metres and is undoubtedly one of the most prestigious in this part of Europe. A rich offer includes an indoor and outdoor pool, a panoramic sauna in the garden and a relaxation space with water beds and a SPA cinema. Falkensteiner Schlosshotel Velden is absolutely one of the most prestigious hotels within the Falkensteiner portfolio. Similarly to a world-class athlete, it faces the task of beating its own standards and thus retaining its spot among the best in the hotel industry. When we last evaluated the hotel, the Falkensteiner hotel group had only started managing it. Today, it is in peak performance and is ageing almost as well as the finest Bordeaux wines. We stayed for just one night off-season and were highly impressed. Every staff member we met was exceptionally kind, attentive, and genuinely warm — it honestly feels like they hire people based on how nice they are! The entire property is beautifully maintained, with great amenities: free quality bicycles and rickshaws, an indoor pool, and saunas. It’s perfect for families or anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. I can only imagine how wonderful it must be during peak season. We were truly pleased with our 24-hour stay.

Very well maintained hotel, clean, quiet. Stayed here during Worthersee Gravel Race, so hotel seemed to have its first weekend due to the race. However, that was great as I was allowed to use the room until after the race. Very friendly receptionist Edi helped tons, I really appreciated his help and understanding of letting me leave bike in the room also. Breakfast was simple but good, but again being beginning of season is understandable.

We have been here only for 1 day, but the location is superb, parking is easy. Also you can charge your electric car, the staff can help you with that. The Hotel is almost next to the town, you can access it by walk or even with a Tier or some scooter. Receptionist and the staff were very helpfull and kind. The room was nice, and clean, with proper equipment. The pool and sauna also great. Breakfast has a lot of options, and wide variety of stuff. Gluten intolerance people can have a nice breakfast too. Dinner is from the menu, not swedish style so it will take more time to serve you. If you want to visit the town or do some walking after dinner it is good to start dinner early.
