This is probably the best hotel and location in the town. Absolutely gorgeous hotel, superb restaurant, everything was sparkling clean and staff was really professional and friendly.

I booked Grand Duka Hotel & SPA for a work trip and ended up enjoying every part of it. The staff were warm and welcoming from the first moment, helping me settle in after a long drive. My room was spotlessly clean, with a super comfortable bed and a calm, elegant style that felt much more luxurious than I expected. Between meetings, I managed to try the spa, sauna, and gym, and all were beautifully maintained and easy to access. The breakfast was fantastic, with plenty of local and international choices, and I even treated myself to dinner one night at the atrium restaurant, which was surprisingly good for a hotel restaurant. What really stood out was how peaceful the hotel felt even though it’s right in the center of Durrës. You’re close to everything but can still truly relax. I’d absolutely stay here again, business or not.

We spent 5 days at the Melia hotel in Durres. It is our pleasure to let you know that our stay was magnificent. The place, the pools, the villa we stayed in. All are beautiful taken care of. First of all, the apartment alone was very luxorious, the staff was easy to communicate with and the garden was amazing! The ambient around the apartment (the residence and the beaches) was brilliant, the beaches were very clean and everything was really close. We would defidently visit again!

Villa itself was incredible, even better than the pictures, one of the rooms even had a Jacuzzi! We were a group of 10 guys travelling for our yearly football tour. Villa was perfect for what we needed. Check-in was great and easy. All staff were extremely helpful. There is a nice restaurant next door, we didn’t rent a car so location was a bit tough having to taxi everywhere, but the kinda staff gave us a short free ride (we gave a tip after) to the nearest supermarket so we could buy a few more beers.

Everything is wonderful! I am a very picky guest and travel with my own pillow. 😊 But in this hotel I managed to completely relax. The very kind girl at the reception upgraded the room for free. The room is lovely, big and very comfortable. Very varied breakfast for every taste. The croissants just melt in your mouth! I definitely recommend this hotel for a relaxing holiday!
