The location was incredible and very peaceful. The receptionist was very helpful. On our last day, our 2.5 year-old kid broke a lamp. We brought the lamp to him asking for how much did we have to pay, and he acknowledged that it was an accident and there was nothing to worry about. This is one of those things that makes you return to a hotel.

The inn has a terrace and views of the mountains, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant. Fantastic inn with some of the best and most guest friendly hosts we have met on our many trips. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and at home. My physical limitation was no issue and I was given a parking spot around the corner of our room. The room was beautiful, with fire place and comfi bed. Highly recommended.

Nestled within historic Manchester Village, Kimpton Taconic offers unlimited access to fall leaf-peeping, winter skiing, spring maple sugaring, summer art festivals and an exhilarating array of outdoor adventures all year round. The hotel is beautiful and very clean. The location was close to the center of Manchester Center, but at about a quarter of a mile away from the highest traffic volume. It is in a very scenic area. We bought breakfast at the restaurant inside the hotel and the food was excellent.
