Chef Emrah was especially helpful and spoke good English which made everything from ski hire to special requests much smoother. Staff went above and beyond to help, offering rides to/from the hotel to the ski lifts (which is usually just a 2 minute walk), took on suggestions for breakfast/dinner options, and accommodated late checkout. Staying at Balsoy was like staying at a second home, highly recommend.

My bed was comfortable and bathroom was wide and very clean. They provided all the essential things in case one might need.

The aparthotel has family rooms. We came from Canada to ski at Palandoken and decided to stay at this hotel based on positive reviews and fair price. It did not disappoint! We enjoyed a very comfortable stay during the 7 nights at Saka Life. Facilities are well maintained and clean. Staff is all very friendly and welcoming. Even with the language barrier, we were able to understand how kind these people are. Communicating via the translator app was always pleasant, and customer service was excellent. They were all so helpful. Even washing our laundry for a reasonable fee. A special mention for the woman who prepares breakfast each morning, we enjoyed all of our meals. The included breakfast was fresh and sufficient. Internet, room heating, and hot water all worked well. Location has many shops and restaurants in walking distance and the ski hill is only a short drive away. Also, the historical sites of Erzurum such as the castle and Çifte Minareli Medrese were very interesting. We recommend this hotel and would happily return ourselves.
