Surrounded by unspoiled nature, Hotel Bohinj is situated 100 metres from Bohinj Lake. It offers rooms with mountain view and few rooms on the top floor with lake view. Everything was spectacular! The rooms are amazing, the staff is friendly, the breakfast is so diverse and full of options. Also, I can’t say this enough: everyone needs to try their dinner! It was absolutely the best food we had in all of our 2 week trip in Slovenia! They are aiming to get a Michelin star and I think they deserve one.

If you are looking for a local home environment you will be very satisfied. it was magical, we were very happy to stay there and we hope that we can come back someday. The host was wonderful. She greeted us at the apartment, explained about the facilities and even supplied us with a fan for the room (although it ended up not being necessary given the breeze). The apartment is great, modern very clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and we even got fresh eggs from the host. The kids loved the trampoline. The location allows to easily drive to both Bled and Bohinj - they are both beautiful lakes :)
