Set in tranquil surroundings with large landscaped grounds and a picturesque garden terrace with mountain views, Tongariro Crossing Lodge offers uniquely spacious rooms with historic character. Clean rooms, comfortable stay. Louis was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend!

The apartment was so cosy and well ventilated with large windows! The dry pantry was well equipped with herbs and condiments.

Situated in the heart of Tongariro National Park, Skotel Alpine Resort offers a restaurant, a hot tub and a terrace bar with a fireplace. Most accommodations boast stunning mountain or region views. 房间有暖气很足，面积也很大。房间跟图片展示一模一样。去的时候刚好天晴，能看见火山全景。虽然晚上风大，但是星空非常漂亮，能看见星河带，还看到流星了！酒店的餐厅还挺好吃的。spa要提前预约，每次半小时，5纽/人/次，提前去前台换spa池的钥匙（用车钥匙或者房间钥匙换）

We really loved the family rooms - they were warm despite the cold temperatures. The hot water systems (i.e. the showers) were excellent. Finding the hotel and accessing the car park was also very easy. The restaurant (the spiral) also served very high quality food. The cost of the rooms was outstanding value for money.
