Helen is an amazing hostess, she made us feel so welcome in her special home, cooked a delicious breakfast (bread straight from the oven!) and shared lots of great advice for our trip.

Skiing and hiking are possible within the area, and the apartment offers ski storage space. A lovely cosy place which had everything & felt really homely. Arrived on a very wet wild day & had everything we needed to cook & eat in while watching the rain pour & the river rise, luckily clear for a beautiful waterfall walk next day.

The property is gorgeous and the view is even more exceptional. Butch and Jo were absolutely incredible, and made our stay much more than just that. They made it a memorable experience.

Hanmer Springs TOP 10 Holiday Park is located next to a forest reserve with walking and mountain biking tracks. Guests can hire fun pedal karts for use within the park. room was great with a big bathroom, hot shower. everything was clean. really nice!!

Quiet because just outside the main drag - but super close to walk to all attractions. Best of all, beautiful modern and clean rooms. Wish we had planned to stay longer!

An indoor play area is also available at 10 Rippingale Road, while guests can also relax in the garden. Beautiful, comfortable home. We loved our stay, had everything we needed.

Guests at the chalet will be able to enjoy activities in and around Castle Hill, like skiing, horse riding and windsurfing. If you would like to discover the area, cycling, fishing and canoeing are possible in the surroundings. Stayed for one night to break up the drive from Franz Josef to Lake Tekapo, and had the most wonderful time. A very spacious property for a family of three. The house has everything you need and more - very comfy. The location is lovely and peaceful, the views are stunning, and we discovered very nice short walks around the village. Honestly wish we spent more time there - we love the quiet, and this place has plenty of it. Communication with the host was super easy. Remember to stock up on food on the way as there are no cafes or shops in the village. Hopefully we'll be back one day to explore the area further and to enjoy the peace and the comfort.
