It is located right across the street from the city park, which is also beautiful. The B&B is also located less than a block away from many restaurants, bars, Gelateria, etc. The town of Nicolosi is also cute and clean… so, this property fits in perfectly! Ruben was very communicative and a wonderful host during our stay. He even helped us plan our Mount Etna tour/trip, which went so much better than it would have if we had tried to do it on our own. When we come back to Sicily, we plan on staying here again!

In summary, our stay here was exceptional. The combination of attentive staff, a serene forest setting, and delectable Sicilian fare earns this hotel a well-deserved 5 out of 5 stars.

The whole house and the apartment, the garden, all is very nice and cozy and perfectly groomed and clean.

Outdoor play equipment is also available at Il Casale di Monacella, while guests can also relax in the garden. First, the grounds were beautifully manicured and designed! Our daughters spent loads of time sitting in the garden just soaking in the peacefulness next to the very clean, well-maintained pool (which I definitely took advantage of after the long Mt. Etna hike!) that had nice chairs and umbrellas as well. Our unit was on the second floor and had huge front and back patios! Loved having the washing machine and this was a great location to visit Mt. Etna (if you walk to the top of the property you can see it!) Bedroom itself was a little tight with the queen and one twin, and the other the twin bed was actually in the kitchen but my daughter didn't care. Host was lovely and responsive - she made sure to greet us as well as bid us farewell, and of course got us anything that needed restocking straight away. She truly cares about your experience and maintains a beautiful property!

If you are looking to stay in the area, do yourself a favour and lock in this accommodation. You won't be disappointed.
