To see and visit the 'Hobbit' style wine cellars there was a unique experience we preferred to the unfortunately now commercialised Valley of the Beautiful Women in Eger, which was like Hercegkút back in the 80s. We especially loved the boutique hotel feel of Hotel Kőporos, its location, the large terraces and phantastic views our rooms had, the aircon, the breakfast, the pool, in short EVERYTHING! It was not the cheapest accommodation of our trip but the price was reasonable for what we got.

Skiing and canoeing can be enjoyed nearby, while water sports facilities and ski storage space are also available on-site. We recently stayed at this property and overall had a pleasant experience. The hospitality was excellent, and the place was impeccably tidy and clean. The 2 bedrooms were spacious and the beds very comfortable,( each room has 1 large double bed and 1 sofa that can be made into a double bed) The rest of the house is rather small and compact. All was beautifully prepared when we arrived, and the air- conditioning was already on to warm the place!! The property is well looked after, well-equipped with all the essentials, and very clean. The owners, whom we communicated with via WhatsApp, were incredibly helpful and kind throughout our stay. In conclusion, although there were some small drawbacks, such as the lack of window screens to keep the local bugs out, the property was well-maintained and met our needs. We would consider returning in the future and recommend it to others looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay.

The host is lovely, the food was simple but super tasty (we had dinner every day and sometimes breakfast)! The house is immersed in nature - inside of the forest with lots of opportunities for hiking. We were looking for a quite place in the nature and this hotel completely met the expectations.

They changed us to another hotel so close to that one because they had a problem on it, but the new one was even better! Everything was so luxurious, they had even a jacuzzi and a sauna. We went to ski but it was no snow, so we stayed a lot of time in the hotel enjoying it. Personal was also very nice! It was such a lovely place. :)

I can feel staff are trying to helpl and really friendly but they dont speak english which makes complicated in communication. Like i dont know what is included and what is charged even though i can feel they are honest but just i dont understand what was charged. Also i left message no need for dinner in room on my arrival day, i guess they are nice or dont understand my message, they still put dinner in my room and was wasted. I appreciate the gesture, but just check the message and that is not neccessary. No harsh feeling, just totally can be avoid misunderstanding
