Traditional hotel in a perfect position in the nice village of Metsovo. We had a room with a private veranda, a wonderful view over the mountains. The family run this simple and cozy place, with an authentic old greek atmosphere. Gorgeous home made breakfast. All the staff's people are very charming and helpfull. Private parking for free. Great value for money.

Apollon is an ideal base for visits to the ski resort of Metsovo, hiking in the mountains, or strolls through the traditional town centre. Very central and very clean accomodation. Good breakfast too

In winter, guests can take advantage of the local ski resort and the hotel has excellent ski storage facilities. Throughout the year, there is plenty of opportunity for fishing, hiking and cycling. Bikes can be rented on site. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Georgios directing us into a parking bay in the hotel's own underground car-park. The room was clean and comfortable with everything working as it should. Shame it wasn't colder as it would have been lovely to light the log fire in the room. Great view of the mountains from the balcony. Lovely breakfast with lots of local produce.

The property is a mix of traditional and modern design, quiet and very comfortable ("cozy" truly describes it the best). The view from the loft is phenomenal. It's close within walking distance to anything you need: shops, market, restaurants - you name it. However, the absolute gem of this place is the host. In ten years of visiting Greece we have never had such a wonderful evening as the one we've been invited to.

We have high standards when it comes to this price point, which were met along the way. The contact with the nature, the design was exquisite and the food was delicious.

Traditional style with modern touch only where needed (e.g. bathroom, bed maitresses, pillows). The views are great, the location is perfect (close to everything) and the greek breakfast amazing. Already planning to be back.
