The decoration in the upstairs common room was very inviting and created a cozy vibe. The young woman welcoming us and cooking our breakfast was very friendly and it was nice chatting to her and the other guests in the kitchen. The B&B was a short walk away from several restaurants in the very small town.

Bike hire and car hire are available at the apartment and the area is popular for skiing and cycling. Ylläs Chalet 8208 has a children's playground and a picnic area. Apartment was very nice, cozy, warm, well equiped and close to Yllas sport activities. It was perfect for our family. In real life apartment looked better then in pictures. Kitchen had everything what could imagine and Playstation provided extra entertainmen tor kids. Hope to come back other day.

Hiking is possible within the area and the apartment offers ski storage space. Wow for the price I payed this was terrific! I wasn't expecting a private sauna in the bathroom when I booked (I'm not sure if they advertise that clearly but it was definitely a cool bonus) it heated up properly too (100C+). Facilities are great, lots of cutlery and plates etc, new kitchen facilities. It worked great for me as a night stopover on my road trip.

The surroundings have many opportunities for outdoor activities, including skiing, cycling and fishing. Ylläs gondola lift is 5 minutes' away, and Kellokas Nature Centre is 2.4 km away. Kittilä Airport is 50 km away. It is a cozy, peaceful, small inn. The people who run it treated us like friends. They answered all our questions about the area, checked in about how are experiences were, and were just friendly and helpful in every way! There is a washer and dryer, fabulous saunas, and delicious buffet breakfast. We could walk to ski trails, shops and restaurants. We didn't really need a car.

Offering 5 log cottages by Ylläs Mountain, Tunturioravat is a 5-minute walk from central Äkäslompolo. All cottages have wooden interiors, free Wi-Fi access and a private sauna. Ylläs Ski Resort is 2.7 km away. Absolutely everything. We had a lovely time in Äkäslompolo, and staying in Tunturioravat made our stay so much better. It's a lovely cabin, perfectly located, very close to restaurants, coffe places, supermarket, walking/skiing trails, and at the same time you get a nice feeling of being in the middle of nature. The cabin has everything necessary for a great stay. We were lucky enough to spot some amazing, clear, northern lights right outside our cabin. Last but certainly not least, Simon is such a great host, always quickly to respond to texts, super kind, and he went further and beyond to accommodate our requests. We will most definetely return to Äkäslompolo, and there's no question we'll be staying here again. Again, thank you so much for everything!

Hotel Ylläshumina is beautifully situated by Lake Äkäslompolo, near the village of Äkäslompolo. Guests have access to the excellent Ylläs ski slopes and a variety of hiking trails through the peaceful Lappish wilderness. We are a mixed couple that traveled all the way from Turku, the cabin was very cozy and warm, close enough to the stores, gas station with a beautiful view towards the ski resort. The breakfast was exceptional!
