Apukka Resort is in Apukka, just 15 minutes drive from Rovaniemi. The property features multiple saunas, including an ice sauna, igloo sauna and movable saunas.

Property offers multiple activities on site. Winter activities such as snowmobiling, husky safaris, Northern Lights safaris and reindeer sleigh rides can be arranged with property. During other seasons guests can enjoy tours to Finnish nature, riding with Finnhorses, fishing and cooking course in nature, which all can be arranged with Apukka Resort. This resort is extremely well run and is picturesque lakeside. The property is spread out across many acres and some of the activities are operated from the surrounding properties (reindeer farm and dog sledding) and are walking distance. The resort requires vehicles to get to and is not near the town of Robaniemi. Transportation will need to be arranged. We rented a car and it was easy to get to from the town.

A flat-screen TV, minibar and tea/coffee facilities are standard at Arctic Light Hotel. Bathrobes and slippers add extra comfort, and some rooms have their own kitchenette. Each room has a private bathroom with a hairdryer and a bath or shower. The location was very central in walking distance (2-5min) to shops, cafes and restaurants. Nili restaurant is directly next to it. Beds were comfy. room was clean and the windows can be opened (unlike in other hotels) for some fresh air. Rooms are also very well sound proof. breakfast was delicious with lots of variety, even for vegan people. Kind staff at the reception.

These modern, 2-bedroom cottages are located 3 km from Rovaniemi City Centre and Train Station. Ounasvaara Ski Resort is 500 metres away. Each features a private sauna, fireplace and washing machine with dryer. Everything was just beautiful for all of us, a family of three adults and two grown up boys passing by at the end of August. We loved this warm and cozy chalet where we felt as at home, the rooms with comfortable beds and furnitures, the living room with the huge wooden table and the sofa with warm small blankets to enjoy the fireplace, the two bathrooms with showers, and the sauna, the perfectly equipped and sized kitchen. But above all, we loved the feeling of being immersed in the woods, where it happened to meet lazy reindeers strolling around.

A ski pass sales point and ski storage space are available at the guest house, and guests can go skiing in the surroundings. Super good one or two nights stayed or even a week or so. Room is very nice and clean loved this place I’ll stay here again if I have chance to come back. Thank you so much

Great breakfast. Sup & kayak (we did have 3 hours of sunshine to use in very calm water).

The holiday home features a sauna and a 24-hour front desk. Warm, cosy, clean and comfortable and decorated for Christmas! . Host was fantastic we didn’t have a car so did drops and pickups at reasonable prices. Location of property is in the suburbs so car hire would be easier.
